幕末の探検家・松浦武四郎が描いた『東西蝦夷山川地理取調図』(1859年)を、いまの北海道の地図に重ねて見ることができます。百七十年前に書きとめられた土地の名前を、そのままの位置でたどれます。 Overlay the 1859 Ezo survey map, drawn by the explorer Matsuura Takeshiro, onto today's Hokkaido - and follow the place names recorded 170 years ago where they were written.
